The Imagine Award

Now a little tidbit about THE IMAGINE AWARD:

“The Imagine Award” is an award that was created by Jenn Mulherin (who is the writer of the blog “My Fibrotastic Life!”) in October of 2013. This award was made in order to recognize the bloggers who express their passion and dedication towards their blogs through their creativity.

Here’s what you need to do to accept the Imagine Award:
In a post dedicated to this award:
1. Copy and paste The Imagine Award into your post.
2. Thank the blogger who nominated you and link their blog page to your post.
3. List 3-5 things about the nominator’s blog that you like (which you think are very creative).
4. Nominate 5 other bloggers/blogs which you think display a fantastic use of creativity and imagination.
5. Notify your nominees.
6. Display The Imagine Award to your blog’s award page.

As the rules state here I am only too happy to thank Morgan from booknvolume.com for nominating me for this award. There are lots of great poetry blogs on WordPress but only a few that I absolutely have to read everything they post. Morgan’s blog is one of the ones I use as my own personal benchmark to quality. If I can be half that could then I’ll be happy. Always innovative, superb in rendition, subtle in use of complimentary images and always a breath of fresh air. Please check out her blog if at all possible. Here is the link http://booknvolume.com/

The same goes for my own nominations. Each blog here is exceptional for the quality, variety, and fantasy of there imaginations.

I apologise to all my friends out there, as how can I only pick five from so many wonderful blogs. The above writers and poets probably offered the largest bribes or threats upon my personal safety, (Only Joking!) But in all honesty I could easily have picked thirty. All the best to those I have nominated and I hope they accept in the spirit this particular award is meant.

      1. You can’t choose everyone friend, grin. We follow you because of your contributions and you deserve to be recognized; guilty feeling not necessary…you’re comments and likes are meaningful, hugs

  1. How could you say that Richard..bribes indeed..tsk tsk. lol…I’m at a loss for words, this is such a humbling nomination, thank you, you’re too kind..and to be amongst such a great selection of blogs too..thank you. ☺️✨

  2. Thank You Richard for your ever so kind words. Oddly enough, I aspire to match the standards YOU set forth and often wonder before I post something if You would find it good enough. Thank You for Your continued inspiration!

    1. You shouldn’t do that. I write almost everything quickly and almost solely for myself. If people like my poems I am very grateful but don’t go out to look for it. Yours are superb and have been a joy to read since I started on here. Just keep doing as you are and you’ve got one very happy reader.

  3. Thanks for the nom, I’m truly humbled you thought of me in your list. The sex, money and illegal narcotics are winging there way via Royal Mail as we speak. Sorry but you may have to pay any additional postage as I ran out of stamps 😉 p.s. you deserve this, yours is one of the blogs I check out every time I sign in, your creativity inspires me 🙂

      1. Well, somebody has to! Though I guess when I go completely batty (probably next year) I could applaud myself–but not do the awards thing.

      2. You’ve no need, everybody loves your poems. Me especially. You don’t need an award to tell you what beautiful stuff you write. But if you’re going to go batty it might be best to get a lot done in advance like I do 😄

      3. Now you have me cackling, Richard–you scamp, you! Great advice–my advance work will probably be to go find and polish the old stuff…

      4. Hardly useless, my friend. And I have an unfinished novel that is probably 20,000 pages….The battiness is taking over, so I’m blessed if I can get something new posted each day. Is drooling the next stage? And will I even notice?

      5. What an incredible compliment–and you still have me laughing–I may have to put you on the payroll! But seriously, thank you very much–you made my day.

  4. Oh my goodness. I am speechless, really, and I am tearing up. I am so honored and greatful and to be included with such a lovely group of talented and brilliant writers – I am so humbled.

Your writing has always captured my imagination and I have always been intrigued and inspired. To be given this award from you is an absolute honor. Thank you. xxxx
