A former Authonomy.com gold medalist, part of HarperCollins, Richard has had many short stories and poetry published and always feels extremely privileged each time. A prolific writer, a constant source of clearing his mind, Richard has created this website to share just some of the many poems and prose he has written that would otherwise have fallen by the wayside. Reading and writing have always been Richard's main love along with the pursuit of keeping fit. Running, walking, and anything that provides a spectacular view always feature highly for him. Running in the rain with his headphones on whilst dreaming up some future storyline is just about perfect. It would be nicer still if that run was in Switzerland or Norway, but we can't have everything. Oh, and coffee, lots and lots of coffee. View all posts by Richard Ankers
Oh yes…
🙂
I believe your heart points north – doesn’t it? I know how much you love the snow… 🙂
Sure does 🙂
I thought you promised to enjoy summer while it lasted!!! 😉
I am, but my mind wanders 😉
Then you are not sweating enough!! 🙂
I was earlier, but that’s what showers are for.
This is the first time I’ve ever known you to need a cold shower!!! 😉
I can’t deny it, I did.
Nice haiku poem!! 🙂
Thank you
I love this. I think the mother country always calls us home if that is where your family originates. Mine from Finland, I prefer cold weather over hot. Go figure living in the middle of the hottest spot in America. When my Pa wanted to go away he headed for the mountains of Colorado. Cold country. That is why his family settled in Wisconsin the climate is much like Finland. Do you like the cold weather? OH wait you have on a snow suit or something in your photo that probably a yes. Yes?
I like the cold but have grown into the warmth. I used to hate the summer. I was very self conscious but not so much now.
Yes age does that to you! We get used to our skin and the warmer weather I think! 😀 I don’t know though it’s pretty hot!
Sounds too hot!!!!!
LOVE that last line!
Thank you
Welcome.
Funny…I have an incredible urge to start our snowball fight again. 😀
I gave an incredible urge to finish it 🙂
