Elsewhere

 From balcony of twisted iron,

 Blackened bars flaking away,

 I watch the dawn traffic;

 Too many, too loud.

 Headlights overpower the sunrise

 Dazzling eyes that yearn for a view.

 I take another sip of bitter coffee

 And wish for only one thing:

 That I was Elsewhere.

  1. I love the star bursts in this photo! Great shot Richard. I have always tried to get this effect, every single one of the lights has star bursts! Beautiful view and poem! 😀
