50 Word Stories: Darkness and Light

“I hate it when the nights draw in. It’s dark so early and summer seems so far away. I miss the sun.”

“I look at it this way. When the days are shorter, the sun shines all the brighter. Plus, we get to spend more time with the moon.”

  2. Oh that’s sweet. I like that @’we get to spend more time with the moon.
p.s. thought of you yesterday when I stopped at a fruit vender and bought pineapples. They were three for $1.30. Hahaha. Yes, pineapples are much cheaper here than there. I’d definitely take the raspberry pie for dessert if I was visiting my family in Canada.

      1. Hahahaha. No. You told me about the Carribean girl at some thing you were at that passed on the pineapples because they were so common for her. She had the raspberry pie instead.
