Christmas Visitors (Shadorma)

Red berries
Glisten in the snow
Red on white
Scene so right
Framed by peaceful Winter hush

  1. I learned a new word today… Shadorma. I googled it and Wikipedia said, “The Shadorma is a poetic form consisting of a six-line stanza (or sestet). The form is alleged to have originated in Spain.” 🙂

  2. Beautiful, Richard! I will be looking forward to the photos you sometimes post with your work, once you get some snow! I actually have snowflakes falling on my site, and I don’t know where they came from! They just appeared this morning!

      1. You know there’s a candy with little white dots on them called Snow Caps, don’t you? They’re my favorite at the movies! So there you go – best of both worlds!
