50 Word Stories: Autumns Gone

At times, I see her hair in the falling autumn leaves, a swish of auburn on an otherwise grey day, her tear filled eyes in the morning drizzle. These days occur less frequently now, happening only once or twice each quarter. Each time, I pray for winter to come sooner.
