Autumn Leaves

Autumn flys not Falls
In gasps of mottled colour,
Leaves twinkling deaths
A shushing finale
To lives on the limb.
Carpeted, they collect,
In departure as life
Protected by their own
Before nature’s seasons.

  1. So beautiful Richard, your images of Autumn are most welcome here, we are caught in a summer loop, the wisteria is blooming along with everything else. Some one forgot to tell them it is November.
