50 Word Stories: Betwixt

In between the fog of wakefulness and mist of sleep, I saw her just as she was all those years ago. I didn’t want to open my eyes, yet neither did I wish to fall back asleep and risk losing her. So there I remained betwixt and between. Always would.

      1. Well, either you allow that part of yourself shine off the paper, or pick a character from your writings to act out, or create a new one. I have a side of myself which took me a while to incorporate into other aspects of my life experience. She’s the one who writes all those sensuous poetry and the one who does all that cussing in my other posts. Her name is Tomiko and I’m still in training with her and I am making great progress. I never was one to comment on other blogs, nevermind the ones who I fan over (Ahem-Richard Ankers 😆). I feared them reading my works and not liking them. Defeats the purpose of blogging, no? So Tomiko and I joined together in the ‘real world’ and I have loved every moment. We are one now😋 and I fully acept myself as being that sensuous, sassy, foul-mouthed person. The other still exists and I love her too but she takes a back seat most of the time. I’ve achieved my wonderful Libra balance and have a Zen life.
