Thank You

The Golden Book Awards 2017

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you who wished me luck or went out of their way to vote for The Eternals at The Golden Book Awards 2017.
I'm very proud to say I was one of only six books to receive both the Readers' and Judges' commendations. I have attached the badges to show you.
To go any further and try for the top prize costs, and as seen as I'm penniless, it isn't going to happen. That doesn't change how grateful I am to all of you and whoever it was that nominated me in the first place.
The Eternals has now garnered awards in both 2016 and 2017 and I can't thank you all enough.

Golden Book Award Contest, 2017 (Last Two Days)

One Last Push for my Second Award – Any Help is Much Appreciated

I’ve been nominated in the Golden Book Award Contest, 2017 in the Fantasy category. And it’s coming to a close!

Voting ends on the 15th. Not long left.

If you would like to help and vote for The Eternals here is the link Golden Book Award Contest, 2017. There is absolutely no pressure to do so as it is really a bit of fun and free advertising, but an honour nonetheless. A bonus is that it’s really easy to do. LOL (for folk like me)

Thanks for reading

One Last Push!

The ReadFreely 50 Best Indie Books of 2016 vote finishes today. I haven’t got my hopes up because apparently there’s been dirty tricks involved (cheating to you and I) and I won’t go down that path. Nevertheless, I would like to say an enormous thank you to everyone who’s voted, and if anyone hasn’t but can, then here is the link: The Eternals

The Eternals may yet still do well as I know how many of you haver voted for me. Again, a genuine thank you. It means the world.

PS: I think there’s still  a couple of Amazon gift vouchers to be won for you the voting public. 🙂

Thank you

Richard

Award Nomination

Your Country Needs you! (Actually, I need you.)

The Eternals (complete with its beautiful new cover) has made the shortlist for The 5o Best Indie books of 2016: Paranormal category.

Just to have been nominated was wonderful, but I’ve now made the last twenty. Voting is open until December 16th. If anyone out there can help by voting for me, I would be forever grateful. The top three will be announced in the last week of the year.

The Eternals series of books has been such a major part of my life these last few years. Knowing that others have and still are enjoying my hard work is a great feeling to someone who hasn’t had many such feelings for a long time. You’ve all made this happen, not me. Thank you.

Please vote for The Eternals here: VOTE

Creme de la Creme Award

creme-de-la-creme

Simple and to the point, this Honour is awarded to ONE person. No more long lists, no more hours and hours for one post. Received by One, Given to One for being the Crème de la Crème, the Cream of the Crop, the Pick of the Litter, the Best of the Best. Rules? Sure you can have a few rules:

• Select your Honouree and notify them. You Must Pay the Honour forward, (rather than just giving it back to the person who gave it to you.)
• Showcase their blog in the Best manner you choose.
• Include the Banner/Badge in your Post.
• Share your post with the world.
• Never forget to Thank the Person who Honoured You.

There, That’s Simple, quick, painless (I hope!) and still allows you to Share the Wealth of Love and Friendship.

Let me start by saying that I hate awards, don’t know what to do with them, but when you are the first to receive a new one, and it is given to you by she who you regard as the best on the site, then you feel honour bound to accept it. Morgan is a gem amongst coals. Her poetry is instantly identifiable and always sublime. I aspire to be as good as her, but doubt I ever will be. Please, check out her site when you can, or I will find you!

My own nominee who shall be the second to receive this is Patty at http://petitemagique.wordpress.com/. Patty has just released her first book of poetry and also her first fantasy novel. Every post she does is superb, every artwork with it magnificent. She is multi-talented and hopefully my claim to fame when she becomes a superstar. I have been lucky enough to write with her and was amazed that she wrote her poetry as fast as me if not faster LOL. It gives me enormous pleasure to give this award to her in the knowing that I’ve just trumped everybody else to doing the same thing.

Congratulations Patty. YOU ARE the Crème de la Crème!

ABC and Sunshine Awards

Award Time! 🙂

I have been nominated for the Sunshine Award and The “Awesome Blog Content” – ABC Award by my very good friend Patty @ http://petitemagique.wordpress.com/ I say she’s an angel but she denies it 🙂

The Imagine Award

the-imagine-award

Now a little tidbit about THE IMAGINE AWARD:

“The Imagine Award” is an award that was created by Jenn Mulherin (who is the writer of the blog “My Fibrotastic Life!”) in October of 2013. This award was made in order to recognize the bloggers who express their passion and dedication towards their blogs through their creativity.

Here’s what you need to do to accept the Imagine Award:
In a post dedicated to this award:
1. Copy and paste The Imagine Award into your post.
2. Thank the blogger who nominated you and link their blog page to your post.
3. List 3-5 things about the nominator’s blog that you like (which you think are very creative).
4. Nominate 5 other bloggers/blogs which you think display a fantastic use of creativity and imagination.
5. Notify your nominees.
6. Display The Imagine Award to your blog’s award page.

As the rules state here I am only too happy to thank Morgan from booknvolume.com for nominating me for this award. There are lots of great poetry blogs on WordPress but only a few that I absolutely have to read everything they post. Morgan’s blog is one of the ones I use as my own personal benchmark to quality. If I can be half that could then I’ll be happy. Always innovative, superb in rendition, subtle in use of complimentary images and always a breath of fresh air. Please check out her blog if at all possible. Here is the link http://booknvolume.com/

The same goes for my own nominations. Each blog here is exceptional for the quality, variety, and fantasy of there imaginations.

3: http://words4jp.wordpress.com/

4: http://whywritingisgoodforthesoul.wordpress.com/

5: http://helenmidgley.wordpress.com/

I apologise to all my friends out there, as how can I only pick five from so many wonderful blogs. The above writers and poets probably offered the largest bribes or threats upon my personal safety, (Only Joking!) But in all honesty I could easily have picked thirty. All the best to those I have nominated and I hope they accept in the spirit this particular award is meant.
